Grand Stretch Players Event Cover

Life conditions us to safeguard our futures, to overburden our choices, and to punish ourselves for our failures. In that sense, The IMPROV Mind-Set is the perfect antidote to life. So, COME AND PLAY!

This lively and enlightening improv class combines our favourite exercises, theatre games and scene work to dissipate the fears that impede our spontaneity and ruin our talents. We embrace the pleasure in risk and reap the rewards of failure, reacquainting people with their innately creative and brilliant selves — present in the moment, free of inhibitions, ready in focus, curious in discovery, trusting in collaboration, benevolent in play, making things happen with ease, joy and confidence.

Join Darren Yorke in cultivating the principles of Grand Stretch‘s life-enhancing philosophy over two fun-filled and action-packed days, on Saturday 29th February & Sunday 1st March.

“Amazing classes! Great way to get out of your comfort zone in a totally safe, relaxed space. I always left smiling and looking forward to the next week. Couldn’t recommend highly enough! Will be back for the next round for sure!” — Laura Bowler

“I’ve done a few improv courses in Dublin and Darrens approach to improv is exciting, refreshing and freeing! It really feels like learning how to play again. There’s no pressure to be completely original here, Darren is all about discovering and hiding the “game” of improv – which in turn are all excellent tricks for being original. Grand Stretch is suitable for everyone from all walks of life and experience – book in if you love several hours of belly laughing once a week!” — Aoife Cooper

“Lively, focused workshops: Darren is pouring with knowledge and his passion for the work is contagious! Group size allows for individual attention and mentoring but big enough to that there’s always plenty of craic” — Roisín Barron
