Helium Arts is seeking to employ a multi-disciplinary Visual Artist with experience of collaborative and participatory arts practice working with children and young people including children and disabilities to join our Creative Health Programme. This position is part-time, 28 hours a week, for one year, based in Cork City, due to begin in January 2021.  The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of arts and health practice, possess strong administration and relationship building skills, and have the ability to produce an annual collaborative artwork. Training and continued professional development will be provided throughout 2021, with up to four required training days to take place in December 2020. Helium Arts is the national children’s arts and health charity, developing the creativity of children living with long-term conditions to support wellbeing including their social connections, self-esteem, and sense of agency.
