Established over 40 years ago, Clifden Community Arts Festival is one of the longest running community arts festival in Ireland. The Festival is commited to the delivery of a very high quality artistic programme with a superb literary, musical and visual art content. Clifden Arts Festival is currently seeking a Programme Coordinator to support the Board in its aims. Duties will include working in partnership with stakeholders.
The successful candidate will have experience of organising community based events in a rurally isolated environment, together with an honours degree and at least 3 years relevant experience at management leavel. A knowledge of the Arts, a proven track record of fundraising and the ability to manage budgets are required. Good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills are also essential.
This is a part-time position for twenty hours per week, available on a fixed-term twelve month basis initially. The term is subject to review annually depending upon the availability of funds. Salary range is €18,000 – €20,000 per annum.
