About The Everyman Theatre

The Everyman Theatre is a 650-seat listed building and a jewel of late Victorian architecture, which celebrated its 125th birthday in 2021. The building possesses a rich and fascinating history, and the stunning auditorium is a favourite with audiences and performers alike for its intimacy and atmosphere.

The Everyman Theatre hosts diverse top-quality productions to provide an exhilarating cultural experience for everyone: audiences, artists and communities. Their mission is to present high-quality work for all their audiences, in person and online, creating amazing moments and extraordinary stories.

They aim to support a diverse range of artists at all stages of their careers. They strive to present art for everyone, for audiences young and old, from all communities and backgrounds. Likewise, they produce theatre which responds to the world around it yet remains rooted in Cork. Furthermore, they put the audience first. At the heart of all their discussions about what they choose to produce or present, how they do that and why, are their audiences.
