Tourbook is pleased to be partnering with Theatre Forum and TheatreNI to launch an exciting new phase of a brand new digital platform, now available to the professional performing arts community across Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Tourbook is a showcasing platform and marketplace for live performance. It supports performers in dance, theatre, music, comedy and more connect with promoters and venues. It is the place to showcase work, discover new acts, find venues and audiences and make new connections in places near and far. Tourbook supports live performance work in any artform or genre; it works for events at any scale and, as it grows, can be used in any location.

Tourbook was conceived almost 10 years ago in the Highlands & Islands of Scotland by people working on the ground in the performing arts sector and trying to get more touring live performance to happen in remote and disparate locations. Initially launched as an internal tool for one touring scheme, today Tourbook is a tech startup and a Community Interest Company with a strong commitment to and belief in the enduring impact and relevance of live performance.

After two years of development, an all new version of the platform went live in September 2017 supporting tours in or to Scotland. 

In tandem with that development journey, through the support of Theatre Forum and TheatreNI, Tourbook is now able to support tours across Ireland and Northern Ireland. This is a significant step for the platform and the company, as Tourbook develops to help connect more touring opportunities across borders and across boundaries.
