Getting ready for GDPR
At yesterday’s meeting, members discussed the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which comes into force next May. Obviously it has implications for arts organisations controlling customer data, especially venues and festivals selling tickets, as well as any for companies processing data on their behalf. Members and experts are working with us to take the guesswork out of getting ready for GDPR for you and your team. There will be a follow-up session before the end of this year. Here are the links to yesterday’s presentations and a big thank to Clare, Scott, Niall and Heather for such a comprehensive GDPR overview. Watch out for updates on our website too.
