We are currently organising the 4th annual BlueFire Street Fest, which will take place September 17th in Smithfield Square, from 2 – 8pm. There will be a community/social area, kids area, various workshops, youth talks, music, street performances, art installations and more included in the festival.

Do you know of any children oriented culturally diverse groups who would be interested in performing at the festival?

We are trying to stage some culturally diverse acts from the locality on a mini stage in the kid's area. We have already confirmed some 5 minute acts such as a Bollywood dancing duo and a group scene from the musical Hairspray which will be presented by kids from a local youth club.

The kids area will be located in the playground area of Smithfield where we will host some various arts and crafts, yoga and drama workshops. At present we are trying to recruit for the kids mini stage which is a new feature to the festival. We at Bluefire wish to encourage community engagement and offer a platform to display local talent to the public.

You can find some photo galleries from the festivals previous years on the following webpage which will hopefully offer you a greater insight into the ethos and vision of the festival. If you have any further questions please feel free to get in contact at any stage!
