This Friday, Arena will be looking ahead to Dublin Theatre Festival with a live broadcast from the Civic Theatre in Tallaght.

Gary Hynes will talk to us about bringing an unsung Irish classic King of the Castle by Eugene McCabe back to the Irish stage in its first major revival in thirty years.  

Louise Lowe and Anu Productions will focus their groundbreaking theatre on the Irish family in The Sin Eaters.

We’ll talk to Martin Sharry on Playboyz, a re-imagining of Synge’s Playboy of the Western World.

Lynne Parker will discuss directing Melt by Shane Mac an Bhaird which is set in the Antarctic.

And we’ll have live performance from Little John Nee on the allure of 20th Century valve radios.
