Theatre Forum organises approximately 20 events annually offering members unique training and networking opportunities. Many of these events are free to members and members discounts are offered where a fee applies (e.g. at the Annual Conference).
Events and training include:
Open Space, Members’ meetings, venue managers’ meetings, producer training, emerging practitioner training and artist development programmes such as The Next Stage, and MAKE.
Our major event each year is our annual conference. It has become the key networking event for the performing arts sector and the only event of its kind in Ireland. The conference brings the sector together for two days each year to learn, share and network. From Theatre Forum’s point of view it allows us to touch base with a large proportion of the membership to hear their views and set research, activity and advocacy goals for the coming year.
